About Me

Headshot of Roger Renteria

Roger Renteria

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Technical Communication with minors both in History and Hispanic Studies from New Mexico Tech.

I always get this question from my family and friends who are unfamiliar with my field of study and background: TC is the art and technique of conveying information through various media formats for a specific audience.

I am a member of Society for Technical Communication (STC) since March 2008 and current Secretary and Webmaster for the New Mexico Kachina Chapter since July 2010.

My specialties in TC include visual design, social media, and publications. The image in the header shows some of the books I have read and recommend for future technical communicators. There are many more titles I have and I would be happy to hear about your list of recommended books.
